When we reviewed the F30 we noted that the highest ISO settings in particular were pushing it a bit, and the same is true of the F31fd. It's also at ISO and where the F31fd and F30 output take slightly different paths, with the new camera using considerably lower noise reduction, resulting in images that are visibly noisier, but with better detail.
