Let me also note, while these are all stand alones, she previously published two books, Addicted to You and Bound to You under the pen name Bethany Kane. The hero and heroines from those books are brought in as supporting characters in this book. I highly recommend those two books as well. Joy is an artist, teaching at an art school for gifted kids in California and she also helps her uncle sometimes in the make-up department on set of Hollywood movies. Joy is very close with her Uncle Seth, as her dad left the family long ago and her mom died of cancer when she was younger. When this book starts, two things happen to Joy.

We can only choose how we respond to them. I would choose to be with you. I want to celebrate your existence, Joy. Well , after reading this book , all my thoughts direct me to only one absolute truth and that is : The first chapter alone Damn its hot in here! Let me just talk about the story and stuffs but I promise I'll be back to all the hotness in just a bit ; Joy Hightower is an art teacher.
Not just that , she's the niece of Hollywood's top class Visual and Special Effect designer plus she's equally talented when it comes to body painting , tattoo making and prosthetic sculpting. While helping her uncle out on the sets of the high budget underwater world movie Maritime , Joy stumbles upon Everett Hughes , actor extradordinaire.
The only problem being she doesn't recognize him as he is covered with layers of makeup and body art. The two share a very You see , Joy has been diagnosed with Cancer and that little some some she shares with Everett , she just blames it on the 'heat of the moment' thing.
Fourteen months later , when she's all cured up , she meets Everett again but doesn't recognize him Hell , she didn't even know it was him.. Anyways , so he recognizes her almost instantly and that's just the beginning of their journey together!!!! Whenever I read a super sexy sex scenes , which was pretty much all the sex that this book had to offer , all I could say was , " Damn!!!!
Thats fuckin hot! Phew , I need something to cool down a bit!!! I've also realized that sex therapy is pretty useful when you want to get your thoughts across to people. Just sayin.. The guy.. Top notch Hollywood actor who is NOT a playboy. Doesn't sleep around. Is actually looking for a connection with the the girl he falls in love with , loves his family , loves kids and isn't awkward around them Absolutely in love with him right now!!!!!
Not only is he sexy as hell , he's super considerate too! I loved how he gave Joy her space whenever she needed it , and did not give up on her no matter how many times she pushed him away.
A guy who is good at heart and excellent on bed Joy did manage to get on my nerves at times , but then a part of me did understand what she would be going through. If someone finds out that life is just now like grains of sands that will soon flow out of your hands and be done with , then its not only a battle that is fought by that one particular someone but also by those who love and cherish that someone.
I could see how she wanted Everett to be happy and not suffer on her behalf. My most favorite scene in this book has to be the one where Everett tells Joy that he wont go anywhere and that he'll stick to her no matter what happens. Joy just breaks down , she sobs like she hasn't cried for ages. And at that moment , the readers realize that she really was holding up a lot inside her. If you are looking for a emotional but a uberly sexy read , look no further , Exposed to you is just for you!
View all 21 comments. I started this in July. It's September October now. Let that sink in. Yes, you read that correctly. I love me some good smut, sometimes you just need good smut. But there was nothing good or remotely satisfying about this book. There is literally ZERO plot or character development. Everything is super fast, rushed and manufactured.
From the insta-lust, the no I started this in July. From the insta-lust, the nonexistent chemistry, the weak attempt at 'angst' and the trying too hard sex talk. I don't know, everyone is different and I can see this was a big hit for many but for me personally my kind of smut doesn't include golden penises, juicy pussies and twanging clits.
Give me my time and money back. This started off on the wrong foot for me immediately in Chapter 1 when the heroine meets the hero while doing his makeup for a shoot and before you can say 'Hello my name is' she's whipping out his penis and giving him the "best sexual experience of his life".
At work. On a set. In full sea creature prosthetics. With teams of people running around behind an unlocked door. Like seriously? The whole "Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but can I suck you off quickly? It immediately set the wrong tone for me. Like woah buddy…. Like WTF? Am I supposed to forget that restaurants have security cameras??
He's literally a B-rated Brad Pitt imitation with the awful clothes he wears, the press following him everywhere and his private life plastered all over the media This made no sense. The only 'conflict' this couple have is a health scare near the end with the heroine Joy refusing to tell the hero Everett that her cancer may have returned.
Her idiotic stubbornness and overblown reaction to not wanting anyone to get close to her because she might get sick again was so lame.
